You need to make 6 identical projects relating to that months theme. You will receive 5 different ones back from other club members. This is a great way to get lots of ideas for your own projects! If you cannot make a monthly meeting but wish to participate in the swap, you may. Simply drop your completed swap projects off prior to Me'moire club and pick your return swaps up another time.

Kape Kod Kutz Kreations
sign-ups for 2008 start december 12 @ 10a.

We believe that since Colorful Creations was the first store in Massachusetts to sell the Quickutz system that it was about time we started a "support group" for Quickutz groupies! As you know, Quickutz products are 30% off retail everyday (some exceptions apply)!

Kape Kod Kutz Klub will gather on the first thursday of each month. Dates are subject to change, but we will give PLENTY of notice.

During each gathering we will create a make and take using what else- Quickutz dies. Bring dies to share, exchange tips and ideas during the remaining time. Cost for this club is $20 a year and $8 a meeting (includes a free die, colorful creations choice, no switching).

This is where all the QuicKutz addicts UNITE!!! Whether you have the tool or not, come and join in on the fun!! Everyone feel free to bring your dies (marked with your initials) to share with others. Colorful Creations will host a project using Quickutz. Please still sign up in advance so we can prepare.

Stamp Club
sign-ups for 2008 start december 12 @ 10a.

Love to stamp, get inspiration and meet new friends? Now is the time to join our stamping club and experience all different types of stamping. We meet the last Tuesday* of each month to share techniques, projects and ideas. There are monthly swaps and challenges you may participate in, if you choose, along with shoebox swaps and projects. Join today and broaden your stamping skills. Remember active members get free use of the classroom and non-consumable tools (Quickutz, Accucut and punches etc...). Cost is $15 a year and $3 a meeting.

Meetings will be held the last Tuesday of the month (with a few exceptions due to holidays)

You need to call to sign up for each meeting for preparation purposes. You may only sign up for 2 months at a time. There is a $3 fee per meeting, which needs to be paid to be put on the list.

If you can’t make a meeting, you may still participate in the swap by handing in your cards prior to the meeting.

Stamp Club benefits include (but aren't limited to):

  • Double punch days throughout the year: I will give plenty of notice to these…TAKE ADVANTAGE!!

  • Participating in swaps: this is a wonderful way to get many ideas from other creative minds! This is NOT a requirement to come to a meeting… it’s just for fun.

  • Free use of the classroom and all non-consumable tools, including the die-cut machine (when available): Just give the store a call to make sure we don’t have anything going on. This is a great way to use the die cut machine, make your upcoming swap cards, have a bright large (kid-less & husband-less) space to work in.

  • You will get a list of all members addresses and email. I encourage you throughout the year to RAK them (RAK= Random Acts of Kindness) by mailing them a card.
    MORE surprises throughout the year!

Your requirements:

  • To take full advantage of what the club has to offer it is recommended that you take Stamping 101 or have some knowledge of stamping.

  • As a club member you are required to bring to each get-together: adhesive, paper, scissors, paper trimmer.

  • Optional: to bring a snack for members to share.

  • TO HAVE FUN!!

Get-Together Agendas:

  • During each meeting Jenn will notify you of new products, exciting classes approaching or store news in general.

  • We will then swap our cards.

  • Each month Jenn will submit to you a Challenge. For example, “for the next meeting make a card using glitter.” If you choose to play, you will make one card using glitter, hand it in to me at the start of the next meeting. Members will vote on a winner. Each month the winner will get a free club meeting and other prizes! Once again, this is just for fun and not a requirement.

  • Show and tell...this is where you can show a card you recently made or received. Or any fun projects you’re working on. I ENCOURAGE you to do this!

  • Shoebox Swaps (explained later on)

  • The rest of the get-together will be dedicated to working on projects, showing the club new ideas. These get-togethers are non-instructional in the way that Jenn will not be teaching a class. We will all be here to ask and answer questions.

Last but not least:

This is YOUR club, and a new adventure for Colorful Creations if you have thoughts, comments, or ideas PLEASE let us know!

Shoebox Swaps:

We will have 4 members sign up for a month to host a shoebox swap. What’s this? You create a card using any supplies you would like and put all the supplies to make this card in a shoebox.

Precut the paper, supply the stamps, any coloring mediums, embellishments whatever it is YOU used on your sample.

Once you have signed up for a month, call ahead to see how many members have signed up for the club meeting so you can be prepared.

Swap Schedule

These are swaps we do for fun, they are not a requirement to come to a stamp club get together, but please feel free to participate. You make 6 identical cards relating to the theme of that month, and you’ll get 5 different ones back from other members. If you can’t make it to a scheduled meeting, but still want to swap drop off your cards before the meeting.

Why Swap? To have a wide range of samples at home to look through for creative inspiration. (nice wording huh? :) )

  • These are subject to change or may be added to, we will let you know if we do so.
