Copic Refill Station @ Colorful Creations!
Are any of your copic markers needing a little rejuicing? Just give the store a call, to find out when Jenn will be in (she will be our official refiller) and we will refill them for you $1 per marker. We can also tell you which refils we have available, we will be adding more and more as time goes on. If it isn't a busy day we can do it while you wait!

Summer Accordion Tin
It's Summer. You have places to go, things to do. Make sure one of those places you go is Colorful Creations, and the thing you do is stop by the Art Bar to make this week's super-cool project! You will transform a plain metal hinged tin into a fantastic home for your summertime memories using bright colors and a little imagination. Don't have time to make the project with us? Pick up a kit and make it at home (while you're recovering from that sunburn you scored at the beach!)
As always, glue sticks are provided in the supply bin for completing the project, but it is highly recommended that you bring your Kokuyo Permanent Dot N' Roller adhesive when you come in to create your project.
Make sure to head in to the Art Bar soon, as supplies are limited for this creation!
Kids Art Bar: Kid's Scavenger Hunt File Folder weeks of June 29th and July 6th
School is out and you're headed for the beach. Make sure to stop by Colorful Creations before you hit the sand! This week at the Art Bar, your child can create this super-cool Scavenger Hunt folder complete with an assortment of items you're sure to spot on the beaches of the Cape. Once the project is complete, all you need to do is head over to the shore and "I Spy" your way through the list. Which family member will be able to check off all the items first??? This is a fantastic interactive way for you to spend time with your family while enjoying the sand and surf this summer!
Note: we have had adults want to do the kids are bar as well... no problem there, aren't we all a kid at heart!?

We are so excited to have Dave Brethauer from Memory Box come and teach some classes!! These classes will be with brand new fall and holiday images from Memory Box! The images are top secret until we get them... so we have samples posted of similar ideas of what he is teaching. Dave is well known for his watercolor and colored pencil techniques. You won't want to miss his visit, while he's here from Seattle!!
Memory Box Colored Pencils
Sunday July 26 12-2p
Come and learn about color, blending and shading while using Memory Box images and papers. Each student will make 5 cards using colored pencil techniques that will make you color like a pro. We'll put color to work in analogous and complementary color schemes to really make your greeting cards stand out!
Memory Box Watercolor
Sunday July 26 3-5p
This fun class teaches watercolor through watercolor paints and watercolor pencils. Learn the advantages of each watercolor media and get some helpful tips for applying watercolor to greeting cards. Try out different types of watercolor paper while learning washes and blending techniques. Each student will create 5 cards in an informative and supportive teaching style.

Colorful Creations is proud to offer a great selection of classes for scrapbookers and cardmakers of all levels. Classes are held in our spacious studio, and taught by experienced instructors who love sharing their passion for this hobby. Each class is different, but most guarantee that by the end of class you will have completed an original, innovative project, learned a new technique, or used a tool or product that you might not have known about, and had a whole lot of fun all the while! Classes are a great way to learn new things, meet new people, and designate some time "just for you."

An Advent Masterpiece

Here it is!! The advent calendar of the season!! Jenn is *super* excited about this years creation. Each year it just gets better and better. This year's is crafted around a unique handmade frame filled with tags and other goodies! You will just love it when you see the sample. We are offering this class earlier this year, so if you would like to create them as gifts you will be all set. Please let us know when you are signing up if you would like extra kits. Jenn will also be offering this class again in the fall if the date doesn't work for you now. |

Join Melissa O. as you create a fantastic keepsake planner to get yourself organized for the approaching holiday season. You will compile a great organizer that can also double as a journal and scrapbook to keep track of important dates, lists, events, receipts, photos and pieces of everyday life. While you will certainly put together the bones of this book, there is room for it to grow as you continue to add to it throughout the season. By the end of the year, you will have a fabulous keepsake to remind you of all the big AND little things that occured during the hustle and bustle of it all! Technique Journey: Embossing powders

After Jenn finished Ranger U and became a certified Ranger instructor, she decided it's the perfect time to bring back her technique class. In this class we will focus on one product where Jenn will teach you many different things you can do with that one product. This month our focus will be different embossing powders and techniques you can do with them. You will go home with technique tags that also have the 'recipe' on the back so you will be able to use these as a guide! Watch for different versions of this class throughout the year! |

Space Available
Have
you worked in our studio lately? We have added a large number
of accucut dies so stop by and check them out The studio is available
anytime the store is open. This is a great space for scrappers
or stampers with previous instruction. You can use all non-consumable
supplies (Accu-Cut, QuicKutz, Sizzix, stamps, punches, templates, Shape Cutter, Coluzzle)
and best yet you have a BIG, bright space to work in. Please
call ahead and make sure there is nothing going on, and check
in with a store employee once you’re there. Cost is $7
for 3 hours.

Papercrafting night!
BYOB
Papercrafting nights will be held every other Friday
(all on even dates). These are open to ALL paper
crafters! Bring your projects, drink of choice and
get ready for a fun, productive night out. You can
even bring your dinner or snacks with you! The hours
are from 4-10p and the cost is $6.00. So call your
friends, pack your bag and prepare yourself for some
fun! Remember to call ahead to sign up, these have
been VERY popular!The
store will remain open for those of you who cannot
make the Papercrafting Night, but can stop in to shop!
